What we do!

Branch Community Support

The Royal British Legion is a collection of over 2,000 branches around the UK and overseas.  Our aim is to support the service community in what ever way we can.  This means we are here for serving members of HM armed forces, regular and reserve, veterans, that is anyone who has served 1 day and drawn pay for that day.  We also support dependents of those who are serving or have served and in special cases those who have supported the armed forces.  This means any spouse of a serving or retired member of the armed force or their children and in special cases those over 18 also.

This is achieved through a community of volunteers at local level who wish to make sure that community is appreciated for the service and sacrifices they have made and are still making.  To be a member of that volunteer team you just have to support the ideals of the organisation, you do not have to have served yourself.  It's a great way of saying thank you to our forces and saying; WE WILL REMEMBER THEM!
